Book a one-to-one appointment with an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) for breastfeeding and infant feeding support. 

What we can help with – Breastfeeding, bottle feeding, formula and combi feeding, expressing, low milk supply, pain when feeding, blocked ducts/mastitis, starting solids, twins and multiples, increasing supply, weaning and more complex issues such as babies with a cleft lip/palate, faltering growth, premature babies, sudden weaning and more. 

What happens at an appointment?

• Once you have made contact I will call/email and arrange a day and time that works for you

• I will send confirmation of the appointment and if not done so already, ask that you complete the form below so that I have a little more detailed health history 

• We will meet at our lovely warm venue in Barnstaple or I will meet you at your home (or online via Zoom). If we meet at your home, you do not need to tidy up or even get dressed! 

• We will chat about your needs and I will support you to reach your goals, whatever they may look like 

• I will provide you with typed notes of your appointment usually within 48 hours which will contain a feeding plan if required and which you can share with your Dr/Midwife etc 

• I will be on hand via WhatsApp for 14 days after our appointment for support and encouragement 

• We will arrange a follow up appointment if needed to check how things are going for you and your family

Our fees –

We operate a “pay what you can afford” offer for our appointments. The suggested fee is £70 however we are a non-profit and aim to make feeding support available to everyone, if you need support please contact us. 

This will get you:

90 minutes feeding consultation in clinic or in your home (within 15 miles of Ilfracombe) (includes two weeks’ WhatsApp support) 

We also offer:

• 90 minutes online appointment via Zoom (including 2 weeks’ WhatsApp support) – suggested fee £65 
• 60 minutes antenatal support in your home or in clinic – suggested fee £40 – or via Zoom £35
• Two weeks’ WhatsApp/Email support – suggested fee £20 
• 90 minutes Follow up appointment £35

*Payment required in advance, in full once appointment date and fee is confirmed. Full refund available if cancelled more than 24 hours in advance.
