Understanding the 4th trimester is a new 4-week course from Early Nourishment CIC
The course is for new & expectant parents of North Devon & Torridge. Suitable from 32 weeks of pregnancy until your baby is around 8 weeks old. We have 10 spaces available on each course so it will be a perfect place to meet other parents of similar aged babies. You are welcome to attend with or without your partners. Understanding the 4th trimester is helpful to parents & caregivers to enable them to understand how life may be with a new baby. This course is not an antenatal course but complimentary to any birth preparation course you may also choose to do.
This course will run four consecutive friday’s from 1030-midday starting 26 February and finishing on 19 March on Zoom.
What will the course cover?
This course will cover the early days of parenting and baby’s first 3 months. The schedule is flexible but in brief will cover
- Meeting your baby & life as a new parent

- Caring for your baby at night time
- Techniques to help soothe unsettled/crying babies
